The beach front hotel of Sharks Bay Umbi Diving Village offers traditional Bedouin style hospitality alongside modern facilities. If you are looking for something more authentic with a feel of the real Sinai, then our village could be just what you’re looking for. We are not a resort that caters to mass tourism and we do not have a swimming pool – we think our house reef and the Red Sea are the best “swimming pools” anyone can have! The best hotel rates can be found in our low season periods and we are always happy to advise you on any special deals and hotel packages.
Our inexpensive beach front hotel offers accommodation with stunning views and a unique atmosphere away from the crowds, with our friendly and helpful staff you really will “come as a guest but leave as a friend“.
We have two different room categories for you to choose from to suit all budgets.
The Bedouin Village (Standard) rooms are the largest rooms and can sleep up to a maximum of four people and all have fantastic views of Sharks Bay and Tiran Island.
The Wooden Beach cabins are just a few steps from the beach and are ideal for families and friends that want to be as close to the beach as possible.
Our budget option, the Sinai version of “glamping” are the View Huts. These are located on the top of the cliff-side with spectacular views and Bedouin seating to relax in the evenings.
The village is self contained with our dive centre, jetty, water-sports and activities for divers and non-divers and several places for you to relax, eat and drink.
Breakfast is taken in the Umbi Seafood Restaurant and from midday you can also enjoy lunch and dinner here until late. The Beach Bar serves drinks and snacks until the early evening and when the sun goes down the Bedouin Tent is the place to be.
If you don’t want to stray too far from the beach then there are a number of small shops selling souvenirs and our supermarket sells drinks, snacks and basic toiletries.
