This course is designed for people who have completed their confined and theory portions of the Open Water course prior to travelling.
What will I do?
You will have already completed the knowledge development and five confined water sections of your course and have your student file signed by your local Instructor. This will leave you with four open water dives to be completed here in Sharks Bay. These dives, the final two of which will be to a maximum depth of 18 metres, will take place over two days, one day at our house reef and one day from one of our boats on a local coastal reef.
All students must complete a PADI Medical statement, Liability release form and Standard safe diving form prior to starting the course. If the student has any medical condition listed then signed clearance from a diving doctor, valid within 12 months will be required at check-in.
Prerequisites
- No prior certification needed, but you must have with you the Referral paper signed by your original instructor proving completion of the five theory and confined modules (valid for one year)
- General physical fitness and an ability to swim 200 metres and tread water for 10 minutes
- Minimum age; 15 years (10 years for Junior Divers)
