Emergency First Response

The EFR (Emergency First Response) is a medic first aid certification which gives a very good insight and useful knowledge on how to deal with everyday injuries and is open for divers and non-divers. The one day course also includes CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) training.
It is a prerequisite for anyone wishing to take the PADI Rescue Course.

What will I do?

You will be taught the basics in emergency care and CPR by one of our instructors. You will learn how to carry out primary and secondary assessment, become familiar with the ABC’s (airways, breathing and circulation) and how to maintain these by monitoring and, if necessary, administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation. You will gain an insight into emergency first response and treatment of a wide range of acute injuries including bleeding, shock management, stabilisation of fractures and an introduction to a variety of illnesses and conditions.

  • Minimum age: 12 years
  • Non divers welcome
