A winters day in Sharks Bay!  OK so we have no snow, or rain … and the temperature is still 23 degrees … but it is winter!

Our new liveaboard is now in dry-dock where she is being made ready for the new season.  We will post photos as soon as she returns to Sharks Bay but in the meantime if you would like a “preview” then you can see her floor plan here  and check the available dates and low season prices here.  The low-season prices include return airport transfers, National Park fees and free Nitrox.

Congratulations to our competition winner, Suzanne B, from the Netherlands, we look forward to welcoming her and a guest to Sharks Bay next year to enjoy the Red Sea and “diving with friends” and we thank everyone who took part; maybe we will have a few more easy competitions next year as well!  We like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy & peaceful 2012.

Thanks to everyone who entered our competition to win a free diving holiday at Sharks Bay.  We are having a lot of fun reading all the entries and now have a short-list of people from which we need to make a decision!  The winner will be announced on 23^rd December.

We are pleased to announce that our new liveaboard boat, FREEDOM III, has now been fully refurbished and will shortly be going into dry-dock for the finishing touches!   She will be operational from 1^st April 2012 and you can check her specifications on our website http://sharksbay.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/FIII-SPEC-2012.pdf .  We will be posting photos once she returns from dry-dock and we’d all like to say a big thank you to Sayed Leader for all his hard work in making her a fantastic liveaboard boat.
